First of all, I have to make sure that you understand: I’m not a professional cyclist. I do ride a lot tho (in my opinion), race from time to time and can ride fast sometimes. But all my cycling adventures you can read on here are just a hobby next to my full time job in a film production company. My first roadbike ride was just three years ago and since then, I share my fun and also not so fun moments on Social Media. This not only gathered a lot of followers, but also some partners which help me to reach my highest level and the most comfort while riding my bike. To keep this transparent, I will keep this list of long term and temporary cooperations online and updated.
Long Term Partnerships
In January, I won the #OrbeaChallenges2019 Lottery and got supplied with a beatiful Orbea Orca Aero, two kits for winter and summer and a helmet. I will train on this bike for the next months and also race on it, and when I’m not riding my bike, I will hopefully share a lot of great memories about the challenges I conqueered with this bike with you.
Many of you probably know that I was in Team Alpecin 2018, the amateur edition of the Pro-Team Katusha Alpecin. We got the chance to ride with exactly the equipment the pros get. Although I’m an All Star now (after a year, the team ends and new Rookies get the chance to enjoy this experience), I still join some events for Alpecin and share my highlights, that’s why I added the Dr. Kurt Wolff Institute on here.
“Nothing to prove, just roads to ride, air to breath, your favourite coffee to drink…” Thats what a SaKO7 Rider is all about. Since early 2019, I’m riding also in the Equipment from this brand from South Africa and am quite delighted by the quality and the simple stile of their Kits and Socks.
During the super cold or wet days, I use the smart Percy Mash Cycling Wear.
Since June 2019, I’m wearing Lazer Helmets during my rides and races, all equipped with MIPS. They make me feel safe on my bike and enjoy every second with them.
My very first road bike shoes are now my cooperation partner and I’m very proud to ride their road and gravel cycling shoes. Their motto is: “No matter whether you challenge yourself or other riders, or whether you’re a pro-rider or an amateur, if you’re searching for the most beautiful and best performing cycling gear, fizik is the answer.”
Selle San Marco
Italian based saddle producer Selle San Marco offers saddle for each type of rider – or each type of ride. Even I compete in different disciplines and like my training to vary a lot. My Roadbike and Cyclocross bike are equipped with their short fit saddles.
SunGod exists to make thing better. And to make you see things better. I wear the Velans, their new line for high end road cycling glasses! And for the after ride beer, I switch to the Sierras.
Since changing my cycling computer from “the other famous brand” to the Wahoo, my rides, routing and tracking has become a lot easier. We “met” each other also during Team Alpecin and since then have an amazing partnership, for example, at the Zwift X Wahoo Tour in Vienna where I cycled on the 3rd place.
Manufactured in Germany, these incredibly light disc wheels will accompany me through think and thin starting from now. I ride the Überflieger Pro Disc wheels. They weigh 1390g.
The german brand supplies me with high end roadbike tires and tubes so I can enjoy a lot of miles without punctures.
Staying safe on the road is important, but in case anything happens, I want to be prepared. That’s why I’m always wearing my ROADiD.
You can get 10$ off a purchase of 20$ or more until March with the Code NORA10OFF
I’m riding LOOK Keo Carbon Ceramic pedals on my roadbike and I’m really in love with them.
I drink my water and Iso out of Camelbak bottles. They say: once you go Camelbak, you never go back.
Nice to my stomach and gives a lot power: I eat and drink Maurten Gels and Drinks during my trainings and races.
I do my performance diagnostics at Vienna in the 23rd district at Mag. Stephan Werner institute.
Well, that’s a pretty long list, but I still find ways to spend a lot of money on cycling stuff. Lol.
